It’s been a while since my last post – I know!
Firstly, many thanks for all your wonderful comments on Death Watch. It’s certainly been taken around the world as a holiday read this year; I’ve been sent photos of it on beaches in Mexico and Jamaica and from a hotel room in New York.
There’s been a lot going on through the summer and the good news is that the second D/I Temple novel, Dead of Night, is now with the publisher and will be due out in June 2019. The story picks up from Watch Her Die (Death Watch) and sees Temple mired in the evil world of drugs and people trafficking. He’s faced with police corruption and has to take a huge gamble that risks the lives of the girls he’s trying to save.
Earlier this year I was co-opted as a consultant on an ITV drama production A Confession , written by award-winning producer and writer Jeff Pope (Philomena, Cilla, Mrs Biggs, The Moorside, Little Boy Blue). It’s based on true events surrounding a murder inquiry. A Confession is due out early summer next year and promises to be ‘must watch’ tv with such a fantastic writer and cast.
I’ve also been working on a new exciting one-off project that I can’t reveal too much about at the moment. It’s in the process of finding a publisher. Fingers crossed!
